Smarter
helping neurodivergent adults understand their sensory processing needs and build daily rhythms that support regulation, focus, and joy.
-
We live in a world that often feels too loud, too bright, too much. For late-diagnosed neurodivergent adults, recognizing your sensory processing needs can feel both eye-opening and overwhelming.
Who are we
Many late-diagnosed neurodivergent adults grew up without the chance to access sensory integration support. Without these foundational building blocks, they missed out on learning how to recognize and respond to their sensory needs. What often followed was years of “pushing through” dysregulation, mistaking burnout for everyday life, and feeling like their body was working against them.
At Sensory Smarter, we believe that your sensory system isn’t a flaw to be “fixed,” it’s a roadmap. By learning how your brain and body process the world, you can stop fighting your needs and start honoring them.
That’s where sensory sips come in. Small, intentional strategies woven into your day can provide the input your body craves and the balance your nervous system needs. Instead of overhauling your life, the goal is to integrate tiny, sustainable shifts that make regulation accessible, joyful, and completely yours.

meet Kailey
I’m a late diagnosed adult with ADHD and a pediatric occupational therapist who’s spent years helping kids navigate their sensory worlds. What I began to notice, though, was just as important: parents often had no idea what their own regulation needs were — and, when those needs clashed with their children’s, everyday life became even harder.
At the same time, I was talking with my neurodivergent friends and realizing they, too, had never been taught how to recognize or regulate their sensory systems. It wasn’t a lack of willpower — it was a lack of knowledge and tools.
That’s why I started Sensory Smarter: to help neurodivergent adults finally understand their sensory patterns, learn how to support themselves, and co-create strategies that make thriving and regulating not just possible, but sustainable.
